Wall-E Bike

This amazing Chico 28 we created for Ruben, who came in with the briliant idea of using the cute little robots paint sheme as an inspiration for his bike. Robert @velociao perfectly recreated the effect of century long use and abuse and even added real metal particles to the paint which actually really do rust without affecting the steel below the primer. Perfect Patina!
This bike is featuring a randonneur bike geometry, and is as always rolling super smooth on supple Rene Herse 44mm Snoqualmie Pass tires. Maximum speed and absolutely superior comfort on any kind of terrain, no matter if you go for racing on asphalt or for fun gravelriding off the road, the Chico 28 can do it all. The bike is equipped with a Gevenalle powered 1x11 Shimano drivetrain turned by a Wolftooth Drop Stop chainring mounted to a Sugino crank set. Fenders, Saddle and Mudflap made by our friends at Berthoud Cycles. Lights and power supply by SON , "Schmidt's Original Nabendynamo". Handmade frontrack by Fern.
