Performance Rando

Julian is a "Wiederhohlungstäter" and now the proud owner of two full on custom Fern Bicycles! After his last Chacha BMW GS Dakar inspired bike he now ordered a more performance orientated modern randonneur bicycle.
This bike is is equipped with the fantastic 1 x 13sp Campagnolo Ekar Groupset, which is the perfect groupset, bringing together italien racing bike performance with modern offroad compatible gearing and excellent disc brakes.
It was a quite challenge to make all this work, a narrow chainline and q-factor with 650x48mm Rene Herse tires and the 60mm wide Veloduo Carbon Fenders, but in the end all came out very good, creating the perfect blend of modern bike technolgy mixed up with the best from the past, classic randonneur bicycles.
This bike will perform everywhere equally good, on the road, on rough gravel rides or on really serious long distance brevet rides!
That crazy neon orange paintjob was cerated by Velociao , aka Emergency Rob!
