Biest of the east

This is our 2023 Fern X Allygn X Gramm "Biest of the East" show bike. It is the first ever TIG welded Fern/Allygn frame and I mainly build this bike as a new prototype-test-platform, where we can play around with new ways of framebuilding and testing new parts and components.
But most important we wanted to test our brand new rack&bag system called the "Microriders". This is a collaborative between Gramm Tourpacking and Fern / Allygn and we created a complete new set up of anything cage like mounted micro-lowrider racks and the matching micro-pannier bags. The bags can be used both ways, either on the front-or on the rear rack, just flip them around 180degrees and you are ready to go!
Before you guys start asking, the rear racks are custom made and only available in combination with our own Fern / Allygn frames!
But the front Microrider racks will fit on every bike which features at least 2 eyelets on the fork legs with a 64mm spacing. The rack can be used like a normal anything cage rack or much better, in combination with the ingenious magnetic mount system Gramm Tourpacking Micro-Pannier bags. The bags have a volume of 3 liters each and are made from super light weight challenge ultra series material. This system will give you all the comfort and increased load capacity of a classic lowrider/pannier touring rig, but will allow you to go all out on really challenging hardcore off road rides. We hope to have the new Micro Rider Bag & Rack system available in our online shops early springtime 2024.
Other than that this bike features the absolutely amazing first ever made square taper Cyber Cycles steel crank set, which was welded by my friend and fellow framebuilder Stefano Agresti. Thank you so much Christian and Stefano that you made this dream crank come true! ;)
The bike also features the first ever complete integrated 12V lighting with a modified Lupine SL Nano AF E-bike headlight, which is powered by a SON hub dynamo charged Forums Charger power pack.
The headlight itself is operated via a Bluetooth remote control from the handlebars and the Forums Charger can be controlled via the smartphone
app. Obligatory Fern rinko downtube quick connector for easy frame packing on travels. The hand made custom fillet brazed stem features a integrated Garmin mount.
